This project examines how cities and regions learn from participating in cross-border cooperation projects, focusing on changes in urban planning policies in Southern Europe. It aims to identify factors that influence social and policy learning in these contexts.
The aim of the research is to investigate whether, and how, policy learning in cities and regions occurs as a result of participation in European transboundary cooperation projects; and whether this leads to a form of ‘Europeanisation’ of
