The EUINEC project aims to enhance scientific and technological cooperation between Europe and India. It focuses on creating a multifunctional portal for information exchange and partner search, along with developing training packages to facilitate participation in collaborative research initiatives.
India and the EU singed an S&T agreement in 2001 and since then several actions have been taken to implement the agreement in practice.
Indian organizations have participated in approximately 80 projects under FP6, but this number is expected to increase in FP7 given all new funding opportunities forecasted to be launched.
