This project analyzes the influence of European Union laws on the administrative structures of Member States. It aims to explore the limits of national autonomy in administrative design and the implications of increased EU involvement across various regulatory domains.
Despite significant advancements in European integration, the institutional design and organisation of administrative structures implementing and enforcing EU law had traditionally remained the responsibility of EU Member States.
