EUCLEIA aims to develop a system for assessing the impact of climate change on extreme weather events in Europe. By providing reliable information on weather risks, it seeks to enhance understanding and response strategies for events like heatwaves and floods.
Climate change is expected to impact extreme weather in Europe.
There is therefore a clear need to adapt effectively to climate change, particularly in Europe, where recent heatwaves, floods and droughts have demonstrated the vulnerability of European citizens to extreme weather.
