The objective of ETNA project is to design and analyze future metro and core networks based on Ethernet technology.
The goal is to propose architecture of low cost European Ethernet network that is capable to serve millions of subscribers, be common and secure transport architecture for different network services that are in use now and are foreseen in a future and support inter carrier operability.
