This project examines how context influences the effectiveness of emotion regulation strategies in daily life. By using smartphone assessments, it aims to identify which strategies are used in different situations and develop a training application to enhance mental health.
Emotion regulation refers to the variety of processes through which people attempt to influence their emotions.
The ability to effectively regulate emotions is key to psychological wellbeing, and emotion dysregulation is a central element of mood disorders.
