The ERC-OAPEN-2019 project enhances the OAPEN deposit service for open access monographs, supporting researchers and publishers in adhering to open access policies. It aims to improve awareness and engagement among stakeholders to ensure sustainable access to academic publications.
The OAPEN deposit service for OA monographs was set up to support funders' OA policies.
It was launched in 2014 and has been implemented for the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), the Wellcome Trust, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF), and the ERC.
Through the deposit service, new publications - funded by these funders - are disseminated through the OAPEN Library.ERC-OAPEN-2019 is a continuation of the existing cooperation with the ERC.
