The EnerGEO project aims to create a global strategy to assess the environmental impacts of energy resource exploitation. It combines existing models and datasets to evaluate changes in ecosystems and supports data collection on energy use effects through dedicated pilots focused on key environmental issues.
The main objective of the EnerGEO project is to develop a strategy for a global assessment of the current and future impact of the exploitation of energy resources on the environment and ecosystems and to demonstrate this strategy for a variety of energy resources worldwide.
