The EMPHASIS-PREP project focuses on establishing a pan-European infrastructure for plant phenotyping to enhance food security and plant productivity. It aims to develop a legal framework and business plan to support the analysis of crop performance and improve plant breeding.
Sustainable food security and increasing availability of plant biomass for human nutrition and bioindustries is the key challenge for the coming decades.
