The EMOTE project aims to create artificial tutors that can engage learners through empathic interactions. It explores how these tutors, in both virtual and robotic forms, can enhance learning experiences in real classroom settings.
Significant work has been devoted to the design of artificial tutors with human capabilities with the aim of helping increase the efficiency achieved with a human instructor.
