This project explores the signals and mechanisms regulating plant cell separation during lateral root emergence. It aims to identify regulatory networks and target genes involved in this process using a multidisciplinary approach.
Cell separation is a critical process for plants.
Germinating seedlings emerge from their seed coats, anthers dehisce, fruit ripen, and organs are shed as a result of plant cell separation.
