This project aims to reduce fish larvae mortality in aquaculture by studying the microbiome of cod larvae. It employs advanced imaging techniques to develop a controlled bacterial environment, enhancing the survival and growth of larvae through a systematic introduction of beneficial bacteria.
This proposal contributes to solve a significant problem in commercial aquaculture: namely the high mortality of fish larvae caused by microbial infection.
