Euclid is a space telescope launched to explore dark energy and dark matter by capturing high-resolution images and spectra of a significant portion of the sky. It aims to create a comprehensive map of galaxies and their evolution over time.
Euclid is an ESA space telescope launching in July 2023, designed to understand the nature of dark energy and dark matter.
To achieve this, Euclid will observe over a third of the sky with high resolution imaging and spectroscopy, which will establish “the” reference map of the extra-galactic celestial sphere for decades to come.
