This project analyzes various shielding designs to protect the rear structure of open rotor aircraft from engine failure impacts. It combines real and virtual testing methods to validate technologies and develop new testing methodologies, aiming to reduce costs associated with experimental tests.
This project focus on the analysis of different shielding configurations to protect a rear-end structure of an open rotor aircraft from an engine failure.
The analysis will be performed against simple panels in the first place.
