This research focuses on the flow behavior of complex fluids, particularly their elastic instabilities and transition to elastic turbulence. By combining experiments, theory, and simulations, the project aims to enhance understanding of these phenomena for applications in microfluidics and energy management.
Flows of complex fluids, such as many biological fluids and most synthetic fluids, are common in our daily life and are very important from an industrial perspective.
