This project investigates materials with strong electronic interactions, particularly around quantum critical points. It employs de Haas-van Alphen measurements to study metal-to-insulator transitions and magnetic instabilities in selected materials.
This project aims to advance our understanding of materials with strong electronic interactions.
These are often found to emerge from zero-temperature phase transitions, so called quantum critical points (QCPs).
Therefore, both metal-to-insulator transitions and magnetic instabilities in selected pure materials will be investigated via de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) measurements under pressure.
