This project investigates the evolution of gene regulation in response to environmental changes using the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. By analyzing how mutations affect regulatory evolution, the goal is to understand the adaptive value of these changes in dynamic environments.
Living systems are the product of evolution in a dynamically changing world; they endlessly adapt to new challenges imposed by their environment.
