This project focuses on producing eco-friendly textile dyes from microorganisms, addressing sustainability and pollution in the textile industry. The innovative dyes are designed to match the performance of synthetic dyes while being safer and cleaner to produce.
We are using biotechnology to address three global problems, sustainability, pollution, waste management.
We produce eco-friendly, high-performance textile dyes from microorganisms through an efficient bio-production process.
Our production is based on the use of our proprietary Synthetic Genomics platform, i.e. computational and genomic tools to engineer bacteria that produce colors from biomass waste streams.
