This project aims to enhance health authorities' communication strategies during outbreaks by integrating social, behavioral, and media sciences. It develops evidence-based tools to improve public acceptance of vaccination and antiviral measures, focusing on tailored interventions for different audiences across Europe.
Although scientific knowledge to respond to outbreaks has increased, deficiencies remain in the ability of health authorities to communicate the need for large-scale measures such as vaccination and antiviral therapy and increase its acceptance.
