The EECS project aims to develop a prototype campus card management system tailored for European Higher Education Institutions. It focuses on creating standards for interoperability, facilitating the secure transfer of student information across campuses.
The EECS project brings together three European SMEs and three academic researchers in order to develop a prototype campus card management system that will serve the unique needs and requirements of European Higher Education Institutions. EECS will recommend standards for campus card systems to the ISO and will build the prototype to the recommended standards in order to facilitate interoperability between campus card management systems across Europe.
