EduClimate investigates how rising temperatures due to climate change affect educational outcomes in Europe. It uses large datasets and advanced technologies to analyze the impact on student performance and explores Nature-Based Solutions to mitigate these effects.
EduClimate aims to address the critical and underexplored issue of how rising temperatures, a consequence of climate change, impact educational outcomes in Europe.
The primary objective is to quantitatively evaluate the effects of increasing temperatures on student performance across various educational systems, utilizing large-scale datasets from international assessments such as PISA, TIMSS, and PIRLS, integrated with high-resolution climate data from the ERA-5 reanalysis.
