EDIFOU seeks to digitize and disseminate Michel Foucault's unpublished manuscripts from the 1950s and 1960s, focusing on topics like phenomenology and psychology. The project aims to create a valuable resource for researchers in the humanities and improve digital tools for cultural heritage.
EDIFOU’s aim is to explore, organize, digitally index and disseminate Michel Foucault’s unpublished manuscripts of the 1950s and the early 1960s on phenomenology, psychology, psychopathology, and anthropology (collected since 2013 at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France Archive).
This part of Foucault’s work is still totally unknown today, therefore EDIFOU aims to provide researchers with a new corpus, which is destined to become a reference work in the field of humanities.
