This project investigates the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem function in the Amazon rainforest using advanced remote sensing techniques. It aims to produce significant scientific insights that can inform policy and public understanding of ecological dynamics in this critical region.
A key remaining challenge in ecology is understanding the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem function at large spatial scales.
