ECOSENS analyzes public perceptions and risk assessments of nuclear technologies in relation to climate change and energy security. The project aims to integrate social sciences into nuclear research, develop sustainability assessments, and create a novel economic model to guide stakeholders in energy decision-making.
Using a deliberative approach, ECOSENS will analyse citizens’ views and risk perceptions, benefits and potentials of current and new nuclear technologies in the context of major societal challenges (climate crisis, sustainable energy policies, energy security).
