EcoFeel is a smart energy advisor that monitors household electricity consumption by detecting appliances through power analysis. It aims to raise awareness of energy use and promote more environmentally friendly behaviors among users, ultimately reducing household energy consumption.
The household sector accounts for 29% of the overall electricity consumption in EU (795 TWh) and up to 39% globally. A poor electricity saving behaviour and the lack of awareness of our consuming practices’ impact on environment can increase household electricity consumption by up to 15%.
