This project focuses on developing eco-friendly water-based inks that eliminate the need for organic solvents, reducing carbon footprint and toxicity. The inks are designed for high-quality printing on porcelain tiles, aiming for market readiness through enhanced color options and a new printing head.
The project aims at scaling up high performance, competitive and new green Water Based Inks, which are dissolved in water andeliminate organic solvents, leading consequently to a reduction of inks carbon footprint and toxicity.
First trials in SME phase I haveproven the ECO-INK inks have high quality performances and enable the production of the polished gres porcelain tiles at anaffordable and competitive pricing, suitable for the medium-high level market.
