The ECHoS project aims to establish National Cancer Mission Hubs to enhance collaboration among stakeholders in cancer research and healthcare. By creating networks and guidelines, it seeks to promote effective policy dialogues and improve resilience in cancer care across Europe.
Cancer- healthcare, research and innovation face core common challenges, such as fragmentation of initiatives and distancing from important stakeholders, requiring coordinated solutions.
These challenges are recognized in Horizon Europe’s Cancer Mission Implementation Plan and in Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
