This project examines the impact of early human migrations on landscapes, focusing on anthropogenic changes. It tests the hypothesis that human-induced environmental alterations can be detected through geomorphic and paleo-botanical evidence.

This project will examine anthropogenic signatures on natural landscapes, in particular testing the hypothesis that geomorphic, paleo-botanical, and other paleo-environmental fingerprints of human activity are identifiable, even at the vanguard of early human migrations.
