This project aims to advance superconductivity by improving our understanding and manufacturing techniques for superconducting materials. It focuses on developing efficient cryogenic refrigeration methods and preparing researchers to innovate in applications such as energy management and medical imaging.
The two greatest obstacles to a wide spread adoption of superconductivity remain the limited understanding of its fundamental principles and the yet insufficient capability for large-scale, cost-effective deployment of the technology.
