E.T.PACK is developing a Low Work-function Tether that enhances electron emissions for spacecraft propulsion. This technology aims to facilitate de-orbiting and re-boosting without consumables by interacting with the planet's magnetosphere.
The Low Work-function Tether (LWT) is a long conductive tape coated with a material that enhances thermionic and photoelectric electron emissions.
