DYNOTRAIN aims to improve the certification process for rail vehicles by identifying inconsistencies in existing acceptance criteria and proposing revisions. The project focuses on enhancing railway interoperability across Europe while reducing certification costs and time without compromising safety.
The certification of a rail vehicle according to European regulations, Technical Specifications for Interoperability, European Standards and national safety rules represents a significant element of both vehicle cost and time to market.
