DYNOME is a platform designed to study gene expression dynamics at the single-molecule level. By utilizing advanced techniques, it aims to uncover the stochastic processes governing gene expression in bacteria and eukaryotic cells, with implications for drug development and understanding biological variability.
Gene expression is an inherently stochastic process.
Random expression bursts cause tremendous cell-to-cell variations in mRNA and protein levels.
