DYNAFREIGHT focuses on enhancing the performance and operation of long freight trains. It aims to develop innovative locomotive bogies that reduce wear and noise while improving traction and reliability, as well as establishing operational protocols for safely managing longer trains.
DYNAFREIGHT stands for Innovative technical solutions for improved train DYNAmics and operation of longer FREIGHt Trains.
The project will provide inputs for the development of the next railway freight propulsion concepts within S2R.
