DuraCap is a novel flexible pseudocapacitor designed for thin electronic devices, capable of operating in extreme temperatures. It aims to provide a lightweight, non-toxic energy storage solution for applications like wearables and IoT devices, combining energy harvesting and management in one product.
There is growing interest in flexible and thin electronic devices for different applications such as wearable devices, healthcare, RFID, or smart surfaces among others.
Conventional batteries that are available are bulky and rigid, thereby creating an urgent need for energy storages device with characteristics that match the device itself – thin and flexible.
