DT-HATS aims to decarbonize heavy-duty transport by researching the use of green hydrogen and ammonia as fuels. The project focuses on developing advanced computational models to optimize fuel flow and combustion processes, promoting the adoption of sustainable energy solutions in transportation.
DT-HATS focuses on the decarbonization of the heavy-duty transport sector – which is currently responsible for over 30% of the sector CO2 emissions – by exploiting the combination of green hydrogen and ammonia with their technical and economic potentials.
The project will offer a systematic training to the recruited doctoral candidates who will produce new knowledge in ammonia and hydrogen flow and reacting processes realized in powertrains used for transport and efficient utilization in the H2…
