This project investigates the experiences of paid migrant domestic and care workers from Sri Lanka in Naples, Italy. It aims to understand their diverse realities, addressing issues of gender, race, and class while highlighting their often-overlooked contributions to society.
This project is about paid migrant domestic and care workers (PMDCWers), both women and men, who are people of colour from working-class, minority migrant communities that remain ‘invisible’ in the country where they work and live.
