This project focuses on the silk weaving traditions of Zoroastrian women in Iran, highlighting their role in preserving cultural heritage. It aims to document and promote these practices, showcasing their significance in social and cultural identity.
Zoroastrian women's silk weaving has all the characteristics of intangible cultural heritage; because it is both traditional, contemporary and alive at the same time, which has been continued through inter generational-transmission.
