This project focuses on creating advanced fluorescent nanosensors for detecting RNA sequences in living cells at extremely low levels. By utilizing innovative polymer nanoparticles and DNA functionalization, it aims to enhance the sensitivity of nucleic acid detection through novel amplification techniques.
The project is aimed to develop the novel technique of fluorescent signal amplification upon detection of RNA sequences in living cells up to a single copy level.
The novel interdisciplinary approach will be focused on design of innovative fluorescent nanosensors based on polymer nanoparticles (NPs) incorporated with organic dyes, functionalized with DNA shell.
