The DNA-Robotics project aims to develop modular robotic systems at the molecular scale using DNA technology. By creating a flexible platform for building custom nanorobots, it seeks to advance applications in medicine and technology through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Robotic systems essentially comprise sensors and actuators connected to and coordinated by an information-processing unit.
These principles apply to the human scale robotic systems that currently transform the way we work and live.
