This project aims to create a risk and economic framework for optimizing ship dismantling processes. It focuses on developing models that address safety, environmental, and economic factors throughout a ship's life cycle.
Policy-makers are in dire need of up-to-date objective scientific data to support their decision making as applied to ship dismantling.
