This project aims to develop a novel hearing aid system using wireless electroencephalography (EEG) sensor patches to decode auditory attention. By improving signal quality and comfort, it seeks to enhance the ability of hearing-impaired users to focus on specific speakers in noisy environments.
Over 400 million people worldwide suffer from disabling hearing loss.
While the majority can be helped with a hearing aid, users still experience major difficulties in situations where multiple people talk simultaneously, leading to social isolation.
