Arborea is developing a bioreactor to enhance the growth of microalgae, aiming to provide a sustainable food source and protein ingredients. This technology seeks to address the increasing global protein demand while promoting environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
By 2050, it is estimated that the protein demand will grow by 78% and reach 360 million tonnes yearly if the entire population consume at current levels.
