This project explores how geological changes, such as tectonics and sea-level shifts, influenced human dispersal and development in prehistory. It focuses on the Arabian Peninsula and Red Sea coast, analyzing archaeological remains to understand the interaction between humans and changing landscapes.
We aim to understand the relationship between dynamic changes in physical landscapes and patterns of human dispersal and development in prehistory, paying particular attention to the impact of active tectonics and sea-level change.
