DISCONTOOLS aims to enhance the development of vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostic tests for infectious animal diseases. It focuses on creating a validated database, identifying knowledge gaps, and exploring new technologies to improve disease control, engaging various stakeholders throughout the process.
DISCONTOOLS will provide a mechanism for focusing and prioritising research that ultimately delivers new and improved vaccines, pharmaceuticals and diagnostic tests.
The project will make a major contribution to the objectives of the relevant FP7 call.
