The DISCHARGE project evaluates the effectiveness of coronary computed tomography compared to invasive coronary angiography for diagnosing coronary artery disease. It aims to improve patient outcomes and reduce unnecessary procedures through a large-scale clinical trial across Europe.
Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the leading cause of death in high-income countries.
