This project aims to enhance emergency management by developing a common ontology that addresses cultural, linguistic, and legal differences among first responders. It also focuses on improving interoperability between diverse Emergency Management Systems through service-oriented architecture mediation algorithms.
Emergency management becomes more challenging in an international crisis episode because of cultural, linguistic and legal differences between all stakeholders, especially first responders.
