This project explores the properties of ultracold quantum gases made of strongly magnetic fermions. It aims to investigate the effects of long-range dipolar interactions on quantum phenomena, potentially providing insights into high-temperature superconductivity.
Ultracold quantum gases have triggered great interest for their possibilities of simulating quantum matter.
Thanks to the high tunability of these systems, direct signatures of fundamental phenomena in solid-state physics have in particular become accessible.
