Summary

DIONE develops a monitoring toolbox for direct payments in agriculture, utilizing advanced technologies to ensure compliance with crop diversification rules. It integrates satellite data, drone imagery, and ground-based photos to enhance land use monitoring and improve environmental compliance.

Objective

DIONE proposes a close-to-market (TRL7) area-based direct payments monitoring toolbox that will address the forthcoming Modernised CAP regulation of using automated technologies to ensure more frequent, accurate and inexpensive compliance checks.
