The DINaMiT project focuses on developing advanced drug delivery systems using magnetic and metal nanoparticles for cancer treatment. These systems enable dual imaging techniques and theranostic capabilities, allowing for targeted drug delivery and monitoring in living organisms.
Objectives of the joint exchange program “DINaMiT” is to develop state-of-the art remotely responsive magnetic/metal nanoparticle functionalized drug delivery carriers for dual optical and magnetic resonance imaging modalities, equip such probes with theranostic detection/delivery capabilities and apply them for in-vivo study of anticancer drugs.
To implement ambitious goals of such a program seven work-packages will be pursued.
