DIMERCIRCUITS aims to develop modular gene circuits that can dynamically regulate gene expression in human cells. By creating new transcription factors that interact with inhibitory proteins, the project seeks to enhance the precision of gene therapy applications.
Synthetic gene circuits offer considerable potential for engineering human cells to perform complex functions for innovative biotechnological and therapeutic applications.
